    Hi,

    New here.

Just some concern, maybe someone might help.
I had an Apacer USB, plugged to my desktop when suddenly my computer was turned off, because
of power cut-off. Now, when I turn on the computer, my USB can't be detected anymore. And I
observed the USB tip, gets warmer.. maybe got short circuited?
Is there any way I can get my files?

    Thanks.

    try a usb reset

in the device manager click on view at the top and in the dropdown
    show hidden devices
then uninstall all listed usb items
    turn the computer off
    unplug usb plugs
    reboot twice
    replug in the usb plugs

    ok,

surely, gonna try this one.. coz some software utilities and important notes are saved on it.
but, I already opened the USB, trying to check if maybe there are shorted circuits..

    thanks again!
