Greetings, I posted for the first time yesterday and was happy with the results, thus, I shall try my luck once again. After lengthy calls with the Canon support techies, and much frustration I might add, I was told that they couldn't help me with my digital camera questions but that I have to re-install my USB ports myself. Well, seeing as I am still an idiot, I figured I would ask in here, seeing as the people in this forum seem quite knowledgeable. So, without further ado, how do I re-install a USB port on windows 98? Thanks

Go to device manager and look for usb controller. Then right click it and select remove. Then reboot windows and install the drivers for the usb for your motherboard.
