Solved Usb ports not working after driver updates using DriverEasy

As the title says , none of the usb ports are working. The device which I have has windows 7 installed, and is used for teaching purposes. Im not able to use the mouse and keyboard at all. What do I do now? Is there any way to get them working again? I also can't use any DVDs because the device doesn't have a DVD drive.

Try to boot in Safe Mode with Networking. If that works. See if you can download and install the Chipset Drivers for your motherboard.
Alternatively you can boot In Safe Mode with Command Prompt. When the prompt appears type, without quotation marks, "%systemroot%\system32\restore\rstrui.exe" then press enter. That should start the restore process. It only works if system protection is enabled, of course.

It's a bit late for the lecture but I'll say it so anyone reading this thread will get the message.
Stop using driver update programs! They do more harm than good. (The same goes for registry cleaning programs)
As the old saying goes, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. It is very rare for a computer to require a driver update.

Also if you absolutely think you need to do this, create an image BEFORE you allow a program to update multiple drivers.

I agree.However,i will check the manufacturers site for upadated graphics drivers and bios updates..etc once a year.Other then that,thats about it.Really no need to update if everything is working right.
I always get my drivers from the manufacturers website.No third party software as i have seen it cause adverse effects.

Please explain how do I boot with safe mode. Also I've checked mouse and keyboard with different pin. They aren't working too. Please tell me if there's anything I can do to fix this.
Also I would like to know where the drivers are installed. On the hard disk?

Please tell us the brand and exact model of netbook so we can find the manual and tell you the keys to get into safe mode. Each computer is different.
