I really need my USB ports but all of a sudden they don't work anymore. My camera won't work and most importantly my TI link for my calculator won't work. At first I thought it was the link so I went and bought another one. Then I tried that and it still didn't work that's when I tried my camera and it won't work. So that's why I believe it's the ports. Can somebody please tell me what's wrong before I have to call the tech over here.

Check in your device manager t see if your USB controllers ar funtioning properly. If not dump them and reboot. It will ask for the drivers and you can get them from our OS disk or MB disk if appropriate.

    To disable:

Control Panel - System - Hardware - Device Manager - Universal Serial Bus Controllers - select a device - right click - uninstall - reboot.

However if they do not have a yellow ! its uncertain that is the problem.
