I have 2 devices connected to my USB ports. They are a printer [Canon S330] and a scanner [hp scanjet 4400c]. When I turn on my computer I get a message saying new hardware found and when I go to device manager it reads unknown device. This problem does not occur every time my computer is turned on but it does not show any consistency to when this problem will happen.

    Open the Device Manager.
Select your new harware, then update the driver.

This will eliminate the annoying detection of new hardware/s. (y)

    Good Luck!

I have searched for updated drivers for both devices but there is none.By going to device manager also does not help with updating drivers.
