Hi,

I have a epson sytlus c42ux printer which is USB. Now I also have a SMC Router which has a print server. The only way the print server will work is if the printer has a 22pin parallel port wire. Is there any adaptor that coverts USB into the regular printer serial cable? If so, What is it called?

I found this, however, it seems like the printer end has no pins to plug into my router.

Thanks

Look for a USB <-> Parallel adapter, they exist and appear to be what you're seeking. Note that I've never tried one...
