I want to upgrade to USB2. Currently I have a 4 port hub connected to a USB1.1 port at the back of my PC.

Is it possible to replace the current USB1.1 port with a USB2 connection and if so would that provide me with 4 additional USB2 connections once the hub is plugged into it?

    Thanks

You can't replace a USB 1.1 with a 2.0, but what you can do, if you have a spare PCI slot, is a get a PCI - USB 2.0 card.
