How do you tell which USB you have on a system-- 1.1 or 2.0?

Check your motherboard manual (or look it up online)

Also if you go into Device Manager it should say Enhanced USB if its a USB 2.0 port.

I have a 8200 Dell purchased in 9-02 , Pentium 4, -- device manager has no reference to "enhanced" in the USB on the list, so safe to assume I have 1.1

if I remember correctly, usb2.0 was introduced about a month before you bought your computer, so I doubt you have that...

    just my five cents...
