Wanted to install a eternet card on a toshiba laptop using XP Home. I know XP doesn't support usb 2.0. I was wondering if a usb card was preferable over a pcmcia card.
    Thanks

USB is only worthwhile if your network is 10mbs. If its 100mbs or higher you should go with a PCMCIA card, which can usually autoswitch to either speed.

Personally I would go with the PCMCIA card.
