I had two computers. One Mac and one Windows. The windows pc has given up the ghost. Can I remove the windows hard drive, connect it to my Mac, and use Windows again?

Yes, Boot Camp still exists, but you have to install Win 10 on the Mac using it. You can't just plug 'n' play a Win10 OS from a HDD.

if the drive is in exFat or FAT format you can read and write to it. If it’s in NTFS then you should be able to read the data but not write to the drive.
If it’s FAT32 then you are out of luck unless you can borrow a computer to to store your data and then format the drive to a compatible format the Mac and Windows can see
