Hi, I had an admin account on my pc called "X" but then changed my account name to "Stuart" but all of the folders/files linked to this account - e.g. C:/Documents and Settings/ folder still comes up as "X"

    This is causing some problems

    Any Ideas

    STUART

I suggest creating a new profile and then moving the data from the old one to the new one.

You need to do a registry fix to change the owner association a bit easier:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/MICROSOFT/WINDOWS NT/CURRENT VERSION .........

On the right look for Registered Owner and Registered Organization ... Right click and pick modify on either one to change the value.
