Upon Installing afresh XPSP2 Home Edition, I made a mistake when opening a new desktop account that I share with another. For myself I entered the name "Lary" when in fact I wanted "Larry".
After a day or 2, I noticed the mistake and easily corrected the spelling in:
Control Panel
User Accounts
Cannge An Account
Change My Name
Now I have the correct spelling on the desktop log in page,
However Under:
My Computer
C
Documents and Settings
My folder is still mispelled Lary.
I am unable to right click and rename the folder, because I recieve the message:
" Lary is a windows system folder and is required for windows to run properly. It cannot be moved or renamed"
Is there a solution to this problem? It would be nice to have my name back
Thanks,
Larry...that's 2 r's
