hello all, i was playing around on the school network today, and i was wondering; if i were to delete one of the users listed in the users tab, in the control panel, what effect that would have for that person, on the rest of the computers networked? thanks.

If it's a local profile and the network uses roaming profiles it will recreate it from the server. If the profile is local only the users personal settings will be gone....things like desktop items, color schemes, nothing major.

users listed in the user tab on the control pannel are always local user
on win 98 is posseble to delete them. on 2k computers you neet to be admin. to delete user in the network you neet to be domain admin. if the administrator of the school did his job right you can not delete them as a normal user. you neet also the domain admin tools to do that.
