I've inherited responsibility for some web pages created with Dreamweaver CS3. I've also been offered a copy of CS6. If I install CS6 will I be able to edit these older Dreamweaver CS3 created websites?

I'm not much of a web designer so need a simple solution. Alternatively, can anyone recommend a simple web design app that will allow me to edit these web pages? Thanks

CS6 will happily render your CS3 files. If you aren't familiar with the Dreamweaver editing environment you may be better off using the editor you are more used to. Dreamweaver is only a WYSIWYG editor and you can achieve the editing in any editor such as Notepad++ or as suggested by Jim Komposer. Dreamweaver code is only normal html, css, php etc with some of the more complex code pre-generated for you. I must admit I have now given up on using Dreamweaver and just use a normal text editor.
