Just purchaased a Dell Ultrasharp 1907FP I want to be able to connect to my computer using VGA and connect my cable box to the panel with an HDMI to DVI cable. My question is, If left both devices on and used the button on front to switch between VGA and DVI, would there be any damage?
I am thinking it would be ok assuming that the button works something like a light switch shutting out one signal in favor of another.
