ok you say there are no stupid questions!! I have downloaded some free fonts I want to use for various letters. They were zipped so I got PKware to unzip the files. Soooo, now that I have the files, they are unzipped, how do I use them??? I have put them all together under a myfonts folder, but they are not "live" when I open them. Under "properties" they all say 'read only'. Would someone plz send me the steps (step 1 step 2 etc - very basic!) that I need to do to use these fonts??? Many thx to anyone who will help!! JG

You can also use the fonts without installing them if you want to.
To use a font without installing just open the font file and keep it open till your done using it.
Then what ever program your using it should show up as one of the fonts listed.
If you do not see the font listed then click on other and when you get the other window showing the fonts it should be listed there.
