    what does v0250mon.exe do?
    if its not important i will remove it from my startup

    Hi, The file appears to be from a webcam software by Creative:

    V0220Mon.exe English - United States Unknown V0220Mon.exe Product Creative Technology Ltd.
    V0230Mon.exe English - United States Unknown V0230Mon.exe Product Creative Technology Ltd.
    V0250Mon.exe English - United States Unknown V0250Mon.exe Product Creative Technology Ltd

    I've also seen a thread where that file was submitted for a virus check and nothing was found.

    Right click the file and check the Properties...note the company name, etc.

    thanks. i do have a creative webcam. is it a necessary process? or can i disable it

    Hi, I don't think it is neccessary unless you are using the camera...

    Isn't there some software program that came with the cam?


    You may find a setting to turn it off from starting when the computer does...

    This may not work, since the camera needs the software running to work.
