Any idea why my validation links wont work even if I cut and paste them. I get messages like "name not in data base" or words to that effect.
I use W98SE and Opera browser though Ialso try and make the links work by using IE with the same results.
Keep having to get the program admins to validate me from their end which is rather tedious and requires repeated explanations that I dont know the problem!
Would appreciate some suggestions as I am no techie! Thanks

Are you running pop up blockers per chance?

Yes I think I am but am not sure how to check or how to reset. I do have cookies enabled and my security setting at medium. I also have Spybot, AntiVir, Adaware and The Cleaner running. All free programs. Would this have any effect. I didnt have any trouble with this til a couple of months ago.

I'd turn some things off and do some testing. I know when I have a user that can't reply to our activation emails, I ask about cookies first, then pop up blockers second.....then I manually activate :D

Start, run, msconfig, startup tab.....uncheck items from there, then restart.
