Indulge me, if you will.

I've got zero writing experience. I want to open files and modify variables, and am thinking that knowing language might not be necessary.

I do a lot of printing at home. Recently, I refilled an ink cartridge, and got a perfect P/O <headswell>. The next P/O was fertilizer, as was the next, and the next. I refilled and older empty cartridge, and got identical results.

I am believing that 'bidirectional communications', which was enabled, includes an identifier of the printer cartridge, and an ink level indicator function. Once the ink level indicator INCREASES for a particular cartridge, the print execute function severely modifies the printed file after one P/O. Ever heard of 'golden handcuffs'?

I'm thinking that there are several ways to accomplish this - modifying the identifier variable, the ink level variable, possibly cut n paste the modded P/O line of code for the normal P/O line of code?

I've successfully changed a picture that loads in an application file, and am now looking at reversing mouse pointer function. Could this be as simple as changing positive/negative indicators?

When you stop laughing, respond with feedback and tips, please...
