I don't know if this is a development or applications question but . . .

I am trying to write a VB program that will operate on a word document. It will change the font of every word, either previously typed or as they are typed.

How do I get Word to know my program is there or how do I get my program to operate on a Word document?

    Thanks for your consideration

u really dont need to create a VB program for that. It would consume far too many rescources for such a simple task

i think you should try VBA. VBA is VB, only optimized for use with its respective program. VBA or WordBasic is accesible from within Microsoft Word under the tools or the macro menu. VBA for Word contains specific objects, collections, functions, properties etc. etc. that are very handy when programming word. these builtin objects are also time-savers.
