    Hi there,
I need assistance with some VBA. I have lots of Excel files with marks in a folder. All files have the name and final mark in the same locations.
Presently, it is time consuming to open each file and type the mark in a final mark sheet. The number of students amount to around 100. I do this several times a year. Every year.
A need code that would copy the name and final mark from each file and paste it in a separate workbook.

I have made a sample using three members and a final mark sheet.
    Thank you

Have you even tried recording one macro? You can then edit it.
I'll look at your files and see if it's clear for me, I understand your question

Try this, right-click the student name and if a file exists with that name in the workbook's folder it will be read and the mark filled
