I am doing install condition check on one of my application and proceeding based on the value. I am checking for VersionNT value '601' for Windows 7. With Windows 7 Beta this worked fine, so we released our product to market.

But now, when we tested on a Windows 7 64-bit Professional RTM build, the VersionNT value is returned as 700 instead of 601.
We tested this on other Windows 7 PCs like, Windows 7 32-bit Professional, Windows 7 32/64-bit Enterprise/Ultimate, all of these OS is returning the value as 601.
Its only Win 7 64-bit Prof. OS is returning 700.

Is it known problem or is there anything that i am missing?

    Thanks for the assistance.
