I've been having some trouble with my computer for a while, like BSOD's and random crashes. I decided to test my memory and ran Memtest. I started it and on test 2 i got an error that had a memory address - 175.4 MB. I came back 4 hours later and i had 5449 errors with many addresses and a - 418MB. Does this mean 418mb of my 512mb of ram is bad? and could this explain my crashes and problems?

If you have more than one memory chip, test them one at a time. That's he only way to be sure about which one is bad.

Then you need to try another stick as that one comes back as failing..
