I have been having problems with a trojan virus that I can't seem to remove from my computer. I have followed directions on you website but I am still having problems. I have run spyblaster, hijackthis, adware se and one other program you recomended but the virus keeps reapearing. It is definitely an autodialer program. I am including a copy of the Registry. If you can ghelp it would greatly be appreciated. I am not sure which ones to delete.

    GO HERE

Download SpyBot Saerch and Destroy and Ad-Aware SE
UPDATE them both and do a scan getting rid of all they find

Do a scan with Housecall and Panda

    Hi,

I have been having a problem with my computer the past couple of weeks. I keep getting aan Icon on my desk top that if deleted keeps reapering. It also appears in my start menu right below the window explorer icon. I have tried following different suggestions from other threds about what to do but have been unsuccessful in removing the dialer program. Yesterday my norton anti virus program told me that their was a backdoor virus on my sytem but that I could not remove it. It gave me no suggestions on how to remove it either.

I have downloaded and run adware se, spybot, spywareblaster, aboutbuster,Kill Box, hijackthis, but I have only brief successes with them. I need help identifying which things to delete from my registry. Could you please look at the copy of my registry below and indicate which ones to remove and then suggest a step by step procedure to get rid of this psky trojan virus. I have an hp pavilion 8560c and am running windows 2000.

Run HJT again and put a check in the following:

Close all applications and browser windows before you click "fix checked".

    Restart in safe mode

Open Windows Explorer. Go to Tools, Folder Options and click on the View tab. Make sure that "Show hidden files and folders" is checked. Also uncheck "Hide protected operating system files". Now click "Apply to all folders" Click "Apply" then "OK".

    Delete these files:
    C:\WINNT\system32\prvdi.exe
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [rqqpbhz] c:\winnt\system32\rqqpbhz.exe

Open windows explorer and go to c:\documents and settings\every profile\local settings\temp and empty the folder.

    Empty your recycle bin.

    Reboot and post another log.
