very, very ooooooold cassettes!

    Hello to all,
    maybe you might have an idea to help me.
    Am trying to save 70´2 cassettes and hoping to "copy" them to dvd/ cd´s via my pc - any ideas how I can do this???????:confused:
    or to my ipod!

    would be great if there´s an easy answer to this!:rolleyes:

    You would need a tape deck with audio outputs, such as...RCA, 1/8", etc. Then you send that to the input of your soundcard (You might need adapters if you have a low-end or integrated card.) Next, you will need recording software installed on your computer.
    Basically, you play the tape and hit record on the computer. Of course it does get more complicated for a quality transfer. You'll want to make sure the levels are correct, use noise reduction if these are important audio tapes, etc.
