I've networked my computers before, no problems.

But... I reformat my downstairs pc with pro, Give my bro my old one with vista..and im using the new one with xp home.

Now, I hate vista...garbage its slow ....I'll never use it.

But aside that, When in vista Me and my brother can nework and lan aswell.

When were both not in vista, we cant.

Aswell, I cant even network with xp pro.

I with it might be because its out of date?

It isnt leting me update over W.Update.

    So im screwed.

Even when i loaded xp home on my bros, it doesnt work..I setup networks before.

But I dont even see a 'nework places' in my start menu, its not even detected.

    Weird?

Im lost, Im just about to give up on networking this.
