i let the video load for over an hour and all of a sudden it just pops up and started playing.. as well as every other video of the same type.. once i restarted it went back to the way it was.. i have absolutely no clue what this could possibly be.. i didnt even make any changes and it just randomly started playing and every video that is similar also played instantly. now they wont play again after a restart

so i have a strange issue, flash player works on certain websites, but doesnt work on other websites.. on youtube, everything works, but everything seems to be in some kind of a different format on there, when i right click the youtube video it says something about html5

the 2nd video seems to be just flash player, such as on espn.com, this video also works normally. when i right click this video it says flash player and a few other things..

the 3rd video which i always seem to have issues with is one that says flash player version as well as JW player version, this video never works after a few minutes of startup.. the strange thing about this video is that it works when i first start up windows.. i have tried it 4-5 times

when i start up my computer i try to open opera, firefox and IE together to see if ti works in all 3.. however opera opens immediately and ie/firefox take awhile to open at startup which im guessing means something in the background on this computer is still opening which is preventing these 2 programs to open.. during the time that ff and ie cant be opened i CAN open opera.. during these 2 minutes at startup when i cant open ff and ie i can play these types of videos! but as soon as i can open firefox and ie, i can no longer play the video in opera..

i have tried not opening ff/ie and opera still wont play the video after a few minutes, i have never gotten ff or ie to play the video before, only opera at the first few seconds of startup..

one last crazy thing with this.. i recently let the video load for over an hour and all of a sudden it just pops up and started playing.. as well as every other video of the same type.. once i restarted it went back to the way it was.. i have absolutely no clue what this could possibly be.. i didnt even make any changes and it just randomly started playing and every video that is similar also played instantly. now they wont play again after a restart

what does all thsi mean? i think something ff/ie need to be opened is causing certain videos to not work for some reason..i have no idea what could be causing this issue, ive tried a ton of things like reinstalling flash, updating video drivers, getting rid of cache. does ayone know of anything in the background that could be causing this? i have disabled all startup items btw so nothign is starting up at the beginning when i turn my computer on. im kinda leaning towards services are somehow doing this, but which service can it possibly be? i have no anti viruses on my computer, i deleted mcafee and tried shutting off windows defender + firewall, i have no clue what this can be!

here is dx diag, thanks for any help.

Have you installed any programs recently or updated any?

I would like to know why the JW Player shows up on your menu at some sites. I just visited the site, and the way I understand it, JW Player is supposed to pick which video format is best for your system when there are options on the net, etc. I guess it could have been installed on your new machine, but it's an open source thing.

Could be something associated with it I think...Can you give an example of a site where the right click produces the JW Player menu? I'd like to see if I get the same problem on my old XP machine if possible...

You are having problems on start up. If you restart the PC, being sure to let all the startup processes load, you can open Task Manager, switch to the processes tab, click on the CPU column header and then watch while you open your browsers to see what is hogging the CPU. Using this method, you should be able to get pretty quickly some information on the culprit process that is holding up IE and FF start ups.

If you do this, please let me know which processes, if any, soar to high levels that aren't Opera, FF, or IE...
