In the BIOS set up there is an item 'VGP aperture size' which can be set from 2 to 128 mb. I have a VGP 4X card with 64 mb. I bought a seperate card so that system memory is not used up for video. But I find that this aperture size memory is used solely for VGP. My Bios hasa default at 64 mb. What value I should use? What happens if it is set to a low value?
My system is Athlon XP 2000+, MSI KT4V mobo, Lansing VGP card, 256 Mb DDR2100 RAM etc
