When tryig to update the drivers on my video adapter to more recent ones (OpenGL won't run and games like Age Of Mythology lock up on me). I've downloaded the most current drivers from ATI but after installing them I get an error message stating the drivers I atempted to install were not compatable with my version of windows and generic VGA drivers have been installed instead (yes I downloaded the proper versions for my OS and adapter). Does anyone have any ideas why this is happening?

This sounds like a question for ATI tech support.

DarqueMist: Welcome!

This page has the display driver and control panel software you need to download and install. Make sure you UNINSTALL the old drivers BEFORE installing the new ones! Make sure to click on the "installation tips" link and read info. These are the most CURRENT drivers....... Posted on ATI website 1/10/03.
