Hello,

My 9700PRO burned out hardcore a few days ago, and I need a <$100 replacement to hold me out until the summer.

I'm thinking the BFG will perform better with its kick in the teeth CPU/Memory speeds, but the Chaintech has an extra 128MB memory. Probably going with the BFG, just want some backup opinion.

Thanks,
Stevo
BFG, should be much better than your 9700pro, if you can get up to a 7600gt that would be great, but I'm not sure if there is an agp version even.

Yeah... the 6600GT by BFG is the better choice for now... It looks like yer planning on a complete syste upgrade, eh? That 6600GT will be a bit faster - the 32bit AMD CPU is the slow part to some extent.
