 I have a computer at home that has a video card driver problem. I have a Ge
Force 2 MX400 card installed in the computer thats running XP Pro. Upon install of the card, XP installs Microsofts version of the drivers. I then install Nvidias driver. All is well on the first re-boot after installation. The next time I turn the computer on, the drivers reverted back to the Microsofts drivers. When I go to update the drivers, the only compatible driver that is listed is the Microsoft version, no mention of the Nvidia driver. I have also uninstalled the drivers, tried different driver versions, uninstalled the video card. Upon re-boot I reinstall the NVidia drivers and re-boot and all is well again until I re-boot a second time and it has reverted once again and has forgotten about the drivers I installed. There is nothing wrong with the card nor the computer. Any Ideas anyone?

Where are you getting the drivers from?

    Nvidia's website?

Yes. It's an interesting problem. The drivers do work, it's just that XP reverts back to the drivers included with the OS.
