video card error

    Today my screen went black and even after moving my mouse nothing changed..
    So i turned off computer and got an error report...

    this is what i got...

    1. INSTALL THE MOST CURRENT DRIVER FOR YOUR VIDEO CARD
    2.MANUALLY DECREASE HARDWARE ACCELERATION FOR VIDEO CARD...

    I don't know how

    WHat video card do you have? Go to Control Panel -> Display -> Settings and see what it says for Display.

    DISPLAY
    Plug and play monitor on NVIDIA
    GeForce 6150 LE

    i just red instructions and it says to remove all nvidia drivers before i install a new one...
    just wondering is it anything going to happen..will i lose anything...
    i don't know much about computers...

    and thanks a lot...

    You won't lose anything. The display will revert to the lowest settings until you re-install the latest drivers and thats all.

    be sure to read the install notes b4 u download the new drivers; it's important! :)
