My friend just got a FX 5200 (cuz his onboard video didnt support DX9). When he installed and booted he got a blank screen. I told him to disable onboard video..but its not in his BIOS..and when he disables whatever is under display adapters, it still wont use the video card, and ittl still work with onboard (even after we think he disabled it?). He needs it to play WoW..And the beta ends tommorow. :( Any help will be appreciated. Its an ECS Mobo (the manual dosent help)

Whats the exact model of the motherboard and what version of Windows?

The onboard video must be disabled in the BIOS or on the motherboard, disabling in Windows has little effect.

Make sure he's connetcing the monitor to the new card. He should also try booting into Safe Mode - if it boots into Safe Mode then the Refresh rate may be set to high.
