Video Card

    Can somebody tell me how I can find out what my graphics/video card is and if there are any updates I need for my graphics/video card.

    You could also do:

    start/control panel/system -> hardware tab -> device manager -> display adapter

    That should tell you what video card you have...Right click on it and go into properties, then driver, and check the version of the driver

    Then just go to the manufacturers website and check for updated drivers. If you have the same driver they list as the current one, then you're in good shape. Otherwise, you can update it. But just a quick note for video card driver updating...IF IT AINT BROKE, DONT FIX IT. Especially if you have an ATI card. Only, and I MEAN ONLY, update your display drivers if you are having troubles. Sometimes updating might cause even more troubles. A good idea would be to download several versions of the drivers and save them on the desktop...makes it easier to see which driver works nicest.
