video converters

    can anyone recommend some freeware video converters? Specifically one that can convert avi to maybe a mp4 or g3p format.

    Free in this category is relatively scarce when it comes to very flexible format conversion compatibility. Super is one such, but I think most people end up buying at least one good, easy to use converter.

    Super is by far the best I have come across. It converts pretty much anything to anything. The site is pretty strange, you have to go through a few pages of skimming to look for the right links to get to the download.
