    Hello, I have XP Pro 2002 SP3 Pent4 2.66GHz 1.00GB of RAM

Recently I cannot view a video or listen to music without it stopping the music to rebuffer & videos stop.

System idle is at 65-70 & iexplore is at 25-30.
I do not see anything else running.

    I do not play games.
I did recently download the lastest version of itunes & have read that a number of people are having a buffering problem when listening to radio stations.

And I am not able to watch a movie at hulu without it needing to stop I was able to last week.

    Advise please,

What type of Internet connection? Cable, Dial-up, ADSL... Wireless?

    Do you have a router?

    Also,

Please click here to download and install version 2.0.2 of the HijackThis Installer.

Run it and select Do a system scan and save a logfile.

The log will be saved in Notepad. Copy and paste the log in your next post.

    Do not fix anything

What if you disable SM1BG from your Cypress USB Mass Storage Adapter?

Are you only having trouble with videos and music from the Web? What about offline?

Hello, I am not sure my post got to you.

I see that SM1BG shows up in three places on my computer.
I do not know how to disable this.

I would say that my computer is slow doing other online things besides music & video.

I tried some things off line with my AutoCad program & it seems to be operating fast

I'd be surprised if Flash wasn't installed on your computer. You wouldn't be able to watch Hulu, nor Youtube for that matter.

Look inside your "Add or Remove Programs".

If Adobe Flash Player is indeed present, go HERE to check your exact version and please report it back.

After reading your previous post I down loaded Adobe Flash Player WIN 10,0,45,2

I do not know if it was there or not before I down loaded it.
It is there in my add/remove programs now.
But there is no size to it.
    That does not seem right.

I have tried playing videos again & they still are stopping & pausing

"Add or Remove Programs" doesn't show size for the Flash Player. It's an ActiveX Control.

You still haven't answered my question about videos and music offline.

Have you tried running IE without the Add-ons? To do so, right-click the desktop IE icon and click Start Without Ad-ons. Let me know if it helps.

Or, your Internet speed might be slower than it was for some reason. Perhaps problems with your ISP?

I did not see the start w/o add ons option

    I have tried music(on & off line) & videos(on line)
    PHP:
& found them to work OK now.

Maybe a problem with my ISP

Could updates be loading in the back ground that I don't now are happening & that is what is slowing me down?
