Does anyone know why whenever I play a video, no matter if on Windows Media player, Realplayer, or Quicktime. The movie is very bright white? I messed around with the colour settings and what not, and it does not help.

Try the settings in Display Properties (Settings > Advanced, and look for overlay adjustments). Depends a lot on what card and driver.

Changing the settings doesn't help. I think I had this problem after I updated my graphics card. But everything else is fine??

What do you mean "updated" your card? Do you have a new one?

What settings have you tried so far?

I mean updating my driver. I tried the settings on the Windows Media Player, and the settings on the graphics card.

The settings in the player always go back to default, but the settings in Display > Settings > Advanced, should stay if you apply them.

You might try uninstalling the driver and going back to an earlier version. It seems there are a lot of problems appearing with NVidia all of a sudden with the most recent release.

How do I get to the option where I can roll back the driver?
I was actually thinking more along the lines of downloading an older driver from NVidia and uninstalling the current one before installing the other.

I can't find the previous version though.

Do you have XP - you can do a system restore and rollback to a previous date?

So by installing the previous version, it won't override the newer one?
