    Hello,

How does one record a video from a digital camera but without the sound ? I've tried muting the sound but when i played the video, the sound was still there. I've also turned off the volume, but there's still sound as if it was never turned off...:)

    Thank You.

You could always try re-encoding the video while stripping the audio out.

thanks. i will try that. i know that audacity can remove audio from a song but it's a hit or miss kinda thing. so, i'm hoping there's an easy way to do this directly from the camera or from software that came with the camera, mine is a Canon S2 IS.

If your camera has an external mic jack input, you could plug a 'dummy' jack in and this should disable the internal mic.
