videos wont play

    fb videos play on my phone but not my laptop

    Test using a different browser. Could be the browser, AdBlock software, other security software, or a missing player/feature (although I thought FB moved to html 5, so it shouldn't be a Flash issue).

    changed browser and its still the same?

    Which browser are you using?
    Did you install adobe flashplayer in your computer? (some sites require this feature).

    Google Chrome may work much better for all your videos. Try on Google Chrome by opening your facebook account. Once open click on the lock icon where you enter the https, select site settings, look for "flash" and scroll down to "allow", close tab and reload and try again. If it does not work for you then you may have a program installed which may be blocking it.
