I've got an HPPaviliona6110n. Running Windows Vista Home Premium. Just today this happened. I'm not able to read my sd cards. Worked fine up to about ten minutes ago. When I slide in the card reader it makes a hollow clunking sound. Then I click on computer and it will show the drive, then I can click on that and go from there. Now there is no clunking connection sound and the drive doesn't show up. Where would I start to try and tackle this problem. Computer's 5 or 6 years old. Maybe just time for a new one? Card reader slot won't read the micro chip. RonT22.
