I'm using XP Home. When I go browsing my disks with My Computer, is there a way to set the default for each folder I look into to display the "details" list?

    Thanks in advance,

    Peter

    Yes there is!

Set the view to detailed in ANY folder.

THen go to the menu "Tools"> "Folder Options".

Then go to the tab "View" and hit the "Apply to all folders" button.

    THat should do the trick

    Cheers
