Viewing thumbnails in windows explorer

    Good morning all..

    How do i look at the actual images when i choose thumbnails in windows.

    I used to be able to see the pictures when i chose the thumbnail options, but all i see now is the type of icon they are. for ex. the gif or jpeg icon.

    I don't know if i did something or not.

    thanks, i've tried this, but it doesn't work..

    i'm running windows 2000 professional.

    and there is no option where i can chose enable thumbnail view.
