I'm having a few issues with my computer to say the least. Any help is much appreciated.

On occasion I will get a blue screen that involves virtual memory - it seems to be video game related. I have solved it for the time being by changing the VM amounts. The first time it happened was when I launched a game called Combat Arms but just today I was closing IE (only IE was running at the time) and right after the browser closed and hit the desktop....blue screen - virtual memory.

So the computer rebooted at that point and as I got into windows again I got hit with the error report deal. It was saying a severe/critical problem had occurred so I sent the report. This is one issue I am unsure of.

The next issue has been an ongoing hassle that I admittedly have delayed fixing due to lack of knowledge. System restore - It just wont work. I can open it but when I click "create a restore point" it tells me to restart. Well obviously I've tried that a few times to no avail. I'm worried that this issue has a deeper problematic forecast for things to come.

Currently my main running tasks are -

MagicJack (Phone service via computer input. *Runs at startup*)

    McAfee SecurityCenter (*also on startup*)

These two programs are always running in the background.

I'm using a three year old Hewlet Packard that isn't speedy or modern by today's standards but its a good rig and my issues are software related I'm sure.
