Virtual memory

    Hello, my computer shows me a message saying that "virtual memory is low" can anyone please explain what virtual memory is? and perhaps a way i keep free some up. Would extra RAM help? thanks in advance (Y)

    Also, if you want complete help ALWAYS provide your system information (I.E. Processor, Amount of Memory, other peripherals). Would also suggest reduce the amount of running applications from startup. To do this open the applications, which are located in your task bar, and open. Go to that applications Settings and / or Options and look for options for "Run at startup" or "run at boot" run at boottime etc...
