    Hello,

I saw a post here awhile ago on the subject but felt it rude to post on anothers thread :p

Well here it goes! I had a pop up from my AVG (vr 7.5) this evening saying there was a virus detected. Per usual I scanned my computer after clicking "heal" to ensure everything was all good. To my surprise there were several a trojan

I use Deep Freeze by Faronics and have never had a problem (In a good 4yrs never a virus, atleast one a reboot couldnt fix :p ). Although of course at this specific time I was working on some flash work and was looking up images, hence deep freeze was temp disabled.

So I use Deep Freeze, Adaware aswell as AVG for protection. I have a HJT Log which I will post below.

Now Adaware came up with up Virtumunde trojan which was causing mass havok on my IE (yes I know IE is aweful). I downloaded and used "VundoFix" and I am still getting copies of the virus (different varriations it looks like) comming up slowly. I scanned with adaware after I used VundoFix and the system reboot, and it came up again. Deleted again of course. It looks as if AVG has removed most of the trojans as I am scanning again as we speak. It is now comming up with temp files "WinAntiVirusPro2007" installer, "UWA7P_0001_N91MO809NetInstaller.exe" and lo1[1].

I have attempted to do some research myself before quickly adding a "Help Me I'm Clueless" sign above my head. Im not computer illiterate but when it comes to the fine line of how everything works I am as clueless as they get. So after reading some horror stories on the trojan and issues in question I figured it was in my computers best interest to ask for help lol

Some of the trojans that were comming up (cant remember exact varriants from AVG) they were Trojan Generic Dropper, Trojan Generic Downloaders and AdwareGeneric2 I believe are the correct names.

Sorry for the long post I am trying to be as exact as possible to help.

    Thank you for your time,

    ~Q
