I keep getting the above error and a shut down / lock of my system. I have monitored the tempature of the CPU and this is fine and well below 40c and there is no one temp that is consistant. I have a Asus P4t board with a P4 1.5gh processor and 4 256 sticks or RAM in place which are ECC. I have looked at the BIOS and everything looks good. Any ideas?

Hi and welcome. How many ram chips do you have? If more than one, can you test each separately to see if the error remains?

Oops, I see you have 4 chips, I'd start there.

Tried That allready. I have to keep them in pairs but i tred all combinations without any luck. I think it might be a heat problem with the memory itself. I am trying to rig up a fan on it now.
