started computer. popping bubbles sound. box with "windows internet security" says: app cannot be executed. the file xpnetdiag.exe is infected. do you want to activate antivirus now? when i clk yes, this message: the file wuauclt.exe is infected. want to activate antivirus? clk yes and box reappears. (i use explorer, opera, and chrome browsers and none will open.)

there is a smaller box onscreen too: infiltration alert. virus attack. threat: win32/nuqel.exe. computer being attacked by an internet virus. it could be a password-stealing attack, a trojan-dropper or similar. want to block? clk yes and box appears saying my anti-virus might not be turned on. i've used avg for years and it is turned on.

can open docs but when try to open internet options on the control panel: file rundll32 is infected. then in a smaller box from windows security it tells me a threat is coming from bankerfox.a.

any clue what i should do? thanks. i am using a desketop connected by wire to the same router as my laptop which is infected and also connected by wire to the router.
