Hello everyone i'm new to the forums i just googled for computer support and found this page. I hope i'm posting my problem in the correct part of the forum mods feel free to move the thread anywhere and notify me.

well my problems started as i was notified that my Norton Antivirus had 1 day left in whatever subscription my brother had bought or downloaded. so i decided stupidly enough to uninstall it form the control panel and replace it with a kaspersky version 7.0.1.321. everyone has been raving about it so i decided to get it and i installed it... ran a full scan and the problems began after i deleted about 15 items.

i know it deleted a lot of viruses and adware but now i can browse certain websites while others like facebook and google dont work via firefox ( i used another computer to google for help) .

explorer keeps taking me here http://systemerrorfixer.com/clean/i...042-70c00-02556-b026e-09545-60514-10040-70d54

as i type this message i keep getting popups asking me to scan my system, or one which says buffer heating up explorer.exe and other stuff

i tried to go back in time ( system restore) but that is failing and there are no restore points before i installed kaspersky

whats worse is that when i launch internet explorer 7 it starts taking me to green lottery pages and advertising stuff which must mean that there is still some adware left.

I uninstalled Kaspersky from the control panel but still i cant browse facebook and google search via firefox but they do work via internet explorer with the ads coming up of course. now i'm left with absolutely no antivirus software.

i dont know what else to do, so i've removed firefox thinking it might be corrupted now i'm left with a faulty internet explorer.

your help would be greatly appreciated.

    Moe
