Wasn't sure where to post this, but I'm sure you guys will direct me properly.;)

My friend's laptop lost internet connection, I had her run HJT and found a DLL in 010 lines, can not remember what it was exactly. I had her run LSP fix, she jumped the gun and she deleted all the DLLs it found, this was done over the phone. She was running late for a meeting and just closed her laptop. The next day, she still couldn't get online. Then, laptop wouldn't even power up. Still under warranty, she brought it in for repairs, which they raplaced the Mobo.

Now story told, the question is,

Did or Can a deleted DLL cause her laptop to not power up and fry the Mobo?
Can this have been prevented by restoring her HJT fixes??
Reason I am asking is that I am a training for malware combatant extraordinaire at G2G.

P.S. looking forward to help the fight of malware here at TSG. (y)
You guys have helped in the past and you RAWK!!!!
