    Hi guys,

Have anyone encountered this virus before?...

I plugged my thumbdrive into a virus infected PC. The virus crawled onto my thumbdrive. The virus binary is remove.exe, autorun.inf. I already removed the 2 files in the thumbdrive.

Now the problem is all files in my thumbdrive have disappeared!

A check on the thumbdrive property shows that half the thumbdrive was used which mean the files should still be in the thumbdrive. But somehow hidden away from me. I did a check on my linux box, I did a listing, it shows 16 items but alas the files are hidden away from me too.

On windows, I already show all files and OS files as well.

My PC is definitely clean, autoplay disabled, account is without administrator rights.

So the problem now lies with the thumbdrive. Can any experts here explain this weird phenomenon?
